Family Services & Treatment Levy Rally

CINCINNATI – The Family Services and Treatment Levy campaign will hold a rally in support of Issue 4 on October 11 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the south side of Findlay Market. Located at 1801 Race Street, the event will feature food and drink specials from Bean Haus. A variety of live music and entertainment will be provided by Jon Kohne Trio, Pete Wallace, Revolver, Justin Popp and NKY Brotherhood. Magician Artie Kidwell will perform throughout the day.

“Bean Haus is excited about the opportunity to promote the important work of the Family Services and Treatment Levy at our Findlay Market location,” said Tim Eversole, owner of Bean Haus. “We are grateful to the performers and staff who are giving their time and talent for the rally.”

The event will also feature information about the levy funded programs and agencies including Cincinnati Union Bethel, The Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati, Talbert House, Hamilton County's Drug Court, known as Alcohol and Drug Addiction Partnership Treatment (ADAPT), Central Community Health Board, First Step Home and Prospect House.

A social media booth will feature live vlogging and Twitter updates as well as video interviews.

The Hamilton County Family Services and Treatment Levy funds programs essential to supporting treatment and reducing crime. The programs are instrumental in moving people from incarceration back into the community; moving women involved in prostitution off the streets; and supporting neighborhood efforts to help ordinary people solve problems related to drugs.
